Home at last, you finally unwrap the weathered, crusty parcel, the smell of creosote and charred hide from the wreckage still lingering on the tattered cloth. Inside, a relic of some long-lost civilization, no doubt -- a curiously exact rectangle of some synthetic material, with a window allowing a glimpse into some sort of tape reel inside. For a single moment, you are faced with a wonder and horror that your world contains such vast troves of past knowledge, the secrets of which have been lost to the annals of time. For now, you file it away with the other relics you've come across in your travels. Its mysteries will have to remain only as a nagging thread in your imagination for the time being.
